This is the foundation for clearing inflamed body acne. on the chest or back. We combine The Acne Lab's Body Wash with 5% Benzoyl Peroxide and our Moisturizer 101 to gently cleanse and hydrate and heal your skin.
This is designed for inflamed acne, which is the type of acne that is red and bumpy or puss-filled. It is not designed for non-inflamed body acne, which is textured with small flesh-colored bumps or blackheads.
For best results, shower every night with this combo. The body wash should be your last step in the shower and the moisturizer should be your first step after you dry off.
Body acne has many influences, so we also recommend you:
- Avoid any laundry detergents with fragrance, dyes and SLS
- Avoid fabric softeners
- Get tested for food sensitivities since there is often an internal influence with body acne
We recommend using this product for a month as a foundation to heal and prep skin for adding additional active ingredient products. For custom product recommendations, we recommend working with our acne experts.
