This is the foundation for clearing inflamed body acne on the chest or back. We combine The Acne Lab's Body Wash with 5% Benzoyl Peroxide and our Moisturizer 101 to gently cleanse and hydrate and heal your skin.
This Acne Body Wash is best used for inflamed acne (pimples that are red).
If body acne is more textured with “non-inflamed acne” (blackheads or textured/bumpy skin that isn’t red), this basic Body Bundle will be a good start but more will be needed to get clear. Contact The Acne Lab to set up a consult.
For best results, shower every night with this combo. The body wash should be your last step in the shower and the moisturizer should be your first step after you dry off.
We recommend using this product for a month as a foundation to heal and prep skin for adding additional active ingredient products. For custom product recommendations, we recommend working with our acne experts.
Body acne has many influences, so we also recommend you:
- Avoid any laundry detergents with fragrance, dyes and SLS
- Avoid fabric softeners
- Get tested for food sensitivities since there is often an internal influence with body acne
THE BODY ACNE KIT CONTAINS:
Body Wash with 5% BPO
- Gently cleanses without stripping skin
- Includes 5% benzoyl peroxide, which kills acne-causing bacteria, clearing pores, and reducing inflammation
- Only use for use on the body
The Acne Lab Moisturizer 101
- Strengthens the skin's protective moisture barrier
- Contains green tea and natural ceramides
- Prevents the dryness that can trigger acne
- Great for the face and the body

The Body Wash should be the last step of your shower, and Moisturizer 101 should be the first thing you apply after toweling off.
How to Use Acne Body Wash:
Wash acneic skin with Acne Body Wash at the end of the shower after any shampoo or conditioner has been rinsed off. Dispense a quarter-sized amount of cleanser in your hand and rub hands together to spread out the cleanser before applying to skin.
How to Use Moisturizer 101:
Use enough moisturizer that can be massaged into skin and is absorbed within 15-20 seconds of light massaging. If it absorbs faster then use more. If taking more than 30 seconds to rub in, then use less.
Moisturizer is meant to help retain moisture in the skin so should be applied efficiently as a next step in a skincare routine without letting too much time elapse allowing moisture in the skin to evaporate.
