Refresh availabilityBreakouts on your back, chest, shoulders or arms need a different approach than facial acne. The Body Acne Program gives you the products, routine and step-by-step guidance to start getting clear, plus a plan for the internal factors that often influence body acne.
What’s included
- Body Acne Bundle: your starter set of acne-safe body care products
- Month-by-month program cards with your skincare routine and clear skin checklists
- Email guidance that walks you through each step, from your first shower routine to updating your products
How long does the program last? You will receive weekly email guidance for your first two months to give you routine updates and help you remove obstacles that are preventing you from getting clear skin. After that, you will get less frequent check-in emails. Body acne often takes 4-8 months to clear up, depending on the type of acne.
Are appointments with acne experts included? We highly recommend working with our acne experts, either via virtual support video calls or through in-person body treatments at our Lafayette, CO, clinic. These appointments are not included in your initial purchase. We recommend that after you've made the changes we recommend in your first two months, you start seeing our acne experts once a month until your skin is clear.
Recommended for best results (not included with program purchase)
Your skin often reflects what’s happening inside your body, so body acne usually calls for a closer look at nutrition and overall health.
During your first month of the program, we will recommend you also purchase:
- Supplements for body acne
- The Acne Lab Blood Test
- The Acne Lab Food Sensitivity Test

Note: The Body Acne routine should be the last step of your shower-- after after any shampoo or conditioner has been rinsed off, you will use the Body Wash.
STEP 1 | BODY WASH
Dispense a nickel sized amount of body wash onto your hand for EACH affected area; chest, back, shoulders. Rub your hands together to spread the cleanser before applying to skin.
Dispense a quarter-sized amount of cleanser in your hand and rub hands together to spread out the cleanser before applying to skin.
After massaging in with hand, use a shower puff (we like the ones with handles). Gently use the shower puff to massage in further and lightly exfoliate. Rinse fully. Do not use any other shower products or soap on areas of acne.
STEP 2 | BODY SPRAY
Towel dry, when skin is still slightly damp use exfoliating salicylic spray. Spray 6 - 7 sprays on each area affected by acne and let it dry to touch (10 minutes).
STEP 3 | MOISTURIZER
Use enough moisturizer that can be massaged into skin and is absorbed within 15-20 seconds of light massaging. (We recommend about the size of a blueberry for each affected area). If it absorbs faster then use more. If taking more than 30 seconds to rub in, then use less.

How The Body Acne Program Works
Months 1–2: Follow your body acne routine. Eliminate common obstacles to clear skin, like pore-clogging laundry detergents. We also recommend taking The Acne Lab Blood Test and Food Sensitivity Test, and adding supplements to your routine. Our cards and emails keep you on track.
Month 3: Book a virtual support call or an in-person body treatment at our Lafayette, CO, clinic so our acne experts can review your progress and update your routine. Unless you are clear at this point, appointments are highly recommended and are booked separately for an additional fee.
