When Acne is not Treated
Skin damage caused by acne scars skin tissue. These scars never completely disappear, even if treated well, but the sooner it is treated, the better. We encourage you to seek treatment if you are struggling with acne.
Interestingly enough, persistent chronic acne can be treated and eliminated without harsh prescriptions (retinoids, isotretinoins, antibiotics), lasers, abrasive chemical peels, microdermabrasions, or an unending search for the next miracle-in-a-bottle.
Though acne isn't cured with a one-size-fits-all approach, The Acne Lab has researched and reestablished the fundamental elements required to treat acne of all severity levels. The reality is that acne can be treated with a strategic skin-care program that changes over time to prevent adaptation to the products being used. What is often overlooked is the health of the skin beyond the pimples. Truly healthy skin is not a result of products alone, but is a result of lifestyle.
The Acne Lab will provide skin care services that will cleanse, exfoliate, and hydrate the skin and to provide safe extractions to help prep the skin for a two-week home care routine. The average length of treatment is 6 appointments over a 12 week period in which the home care routine will be essential.
The Acne Lab ensures that each client is given a two-week regimen that is customized to their specific skin care needs and provides ongoing education with the goal of giving each client clear, clean, healthy, skin.
