This website is owned and operated by The Acne Lab in conjunction with affiliates (collectively referred to herein as "TAL"). All orders and purchases made through the facilities of this website shall be subject to these Online Shopping Terms and Conditions.
These Online Shopping Terms and Conditions, the use of this website and any order or purchase made through the facilities of this website shall be governed by the laws of the province of the United States and the laws of the United States applicable therein. This website collects taxes according to Colorado state laws. Tax rates are based on Colorado, Lafayette city rates for products sold in person or on our online shopping cart. Tax rates may change from time to time according to city ordinances without notice.
You may only purchase or order items for non-commercial and lawful purposes and any other use is not permitted. You may not resell products purchased through TAL, and you may not allow use of our products to any other individual except you, an active client of TAL. You agree to pay for all charges noted herein as payable by you. You have to be 18 or older to purchase from the website. Parents or gardians may purchase on behalf of younger clients of TAL.
Only clients, or the client's parent or gardian of TAL may order products through the website. This requires an online account which we will set up on your behalf when you create an appointment through our website, or through affiliate wesites, such as GenBooks.com. Creating an appointment online will automatically create a secure account which we may use to contact you, and you may use to login and order products and schedule further appointments.
TAL may correct errors or inaccuracies and change or update information on this website at any time without notice, including in respect of prices and availability of items. All prices listed on this website are in US dollars and all charges will be processed in US dollars.
All prices listed on this website are subject to change, however, TAL will honor all listed prices sold at the time the order was placed. TAL may reject an order if the quantity exceeds the current needs of the client, which is to be determined by TAL. TAL may reject an order with inaccurate prices. TAL will not change the price of the order except for shipping, or tax adjustments. TAL will notify you by e-mail within 48 hours of making an online purchase that items have been shipped unless business is closed for holidays, or we are out of the office for vacation. Generally, an email will be sent to clients to notify you that we are unavailable during a period of time.
We track all orders in a database (excluding credit card data), including the price of the products, and quantity of products to be sold. Therefore, if a price changes after you have made an online order you will be charged according to the price listed on the website at the time of the order. TAL maintains the right to cancel any order in the case of being out of stock, or in the case of price errors on our site. In such a case TAL will contact you to explain the discrepency before products are shipped. If there is a discrepency the order may be refunded and cancelled.
If a credit card is declined an order will not be shipped. TAL must be paid in full before all orders are shipped.
Refunds and Cancellations
TAL reserves the right to limit the quantities of certain items which an individual or any group can purchase. TAL will use commercially reasonable efforts to deliver items as quickly as possible and within any time periods indicated; however, TAL will not be responsible for any delays in delivery which are beyond its control. Where delivery is delayed, TAL will notify you as soon as possible. If you have not received an order within 7 days or placing an order please call or email TAL. All orders are assumed to be delivered within 3 to 7 days of shipping. All orders that are insured will be tracked via US Mail. If you have not received an order TAL will first confirm with US Mail before offering a refund. Orders without insurance may not receive a refund if US Mail confirms the order was shipped.
Generally, appointments for services may be cancelled 24 hours prior to service. Clients are asked to give at least a 24-hour notice of canceling appointments. If more than one appointment has been missed due to a last-minute cancellations (less than 24-hour notice) then subsequent appointments will be held with credit card info and will be charged full-price for any subsequent appointment canceled with less than 24-hour notice.
Online orders may be cancelled if not shipped. If you believe there is an error with your order please call or email us as soon as you can so that we may stop the order before shipment. Once products have been shipped, and the order is cancelled you may be responcible for shipping. We will work with our customers to ensure the best satisfaction of service.
Refund for opened products are offered on a case-by-case basis. All unopened products can be returned within 30-days for a full refund which will either be a credit to the card charged, or a check for the full amount.
